Monemvasia was more than photographed in this project; rather, it was deeply imprinted in the very vessels of my soul.

Stone was sublimated through the lens to commemorative monument. The light, sliding the walls, slicing the shadows, bringing the ancient people to the fore. Silences lingered longer than words, in every single corner.

Each frame, a pause in time; as if the “Stone Ship” were anchoring yet again, not in the depths of the sea, but in the human collective memory.
